First Choice Carpet and Tile Care is a family business that was founded in 1990. We are fully licensed, bonded, and insured.
History
Our company started out with one man, Jerry Schenk, providing commercial janitorial services. Eventually he became an IICRC Certified Carpet Technician and expanded the business to what it is today.
Since the beginning of First Choice to the present and beyond, we have always strived to educate our clients and give them the best information about their carpet and flooring.
First Choice’s Approach
We believe when we complete projects we shouldn’t just. Between the time we complete our deep cleaning, and the next time we arrive, we want to educate home owners on the best practices that will save them money and lengthen their assets’ lifetime.
Whether we’re hired on a one-time moving out cleaning project, or a monthly cleaning schedule for a business, we want to educate our clients. The only way cleaning can be effective is if there is collaboration between our technicians and clients.
What We Do

All of our technicians know how important maintenance is in maintaining appearance and value of floors and upholstery. Everything we do because of this is hinged on the idea of maintaining value.

At First Choice we’re passionate about the details so when we clean we focus on getting everything right. We clean carpets, upholstery, hard wood floors, natural stone, driveways, garages, and anything else that a home owner might need cleaned.
In addition to our cleaning services we also offer repair and replacement services. Not to mention that we can also protect upholstery, tile and grout, carpets, natural stone, hard wood floors, and other surfaces by sealing them. It’s much more cost-effective for example to apply stain protectant to your carpet and be able to easily clean spills, than to replace it when an accident happens.
In essence First Choice is a company about helping you save money. We offer cleaning services but in the end of the day we want to protect your home’s surfaces so that deep cleaning or replacements are never needed again.
